non-profit organization comprised of more than 2000 players
from 4 to 19 years of age. About 300 coaches, volunteers and administrators help each

AGM June 30th 2009 at 7:00 pm At the City School Administration building-3rd floor east conference room at CSAC--Election of coordinators will be held as well as proposed by-law changes.
Proposed By-Law Changes:
Section V. : Duties of Appointed Positions
Add: C. Web Master - This position will be in charge of the website. Any maintenance required.
Section IV. : Duties of Elected Officers
B. President Elect - Add - President Elect will also be in charge of Equipment.
Section VIII.: Meetings
C.Members of the Administrative branch of the Board of Directors shall be elected at the fall meeting for a twelve - month period commencing at the conclusion of that meeting.
Change- Members of the Administrative branch of the Board of Directors which includes Registration Coordinator, Training Coordinator, Scheduling Coordinator, Treasurer, and Recording Secretary, shall be elected at the fall meeting for a twelve - month period commencing at the conclusion of that meeting. The President and President Elect shall be elected at the fall meeting for a twenty four - month period commencing at the conclusion of that meeting.
H. A decision required by the Board of Directors, which, in the judgment of the President, cannot wait for a regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Directors, and held via email, shall require a 100% response from all Board of Director members before any vote shall count.
Change- . A decision required by the Board of Directors, which, in the judgment of the President, cannot wait for a regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Directors, and held via email, shall require a majority vote of 8 members and members shall have 2 business days to respond.

Game
Cancellation Policy
Games will be
cancelled only by
the Field Manager,
by mutual agreement
of the two head
coaches or by the
referee.
Soccer is an outdoor
sport played in all
types of weather.
The only time games
should be cancelled
is for lightning or
other severe storm
conditions, snow
covering the field
or other
emergencies.
Notice will be given
before 3:00 on game day if
a cancellation will
take place.
Blankets, dry shoes
and socks,
umbrellas, etc
should be a part of
your soccer gear in
your car. For more

The Board of
Directors of RCYSL
has looked at the
different areas in
which we want to
improve the game of
soccer for our most
important customers:
our children. We
discussed many
topics ranging from
training to t-shirts
to coaching to
concessions and
pretty much
everything in
between. The
outcome was that we
really need your
help. With over 2,000 kids
involved in our
soccer program, we
need your support to
make this the best
soccer experience
possible. And so,
we are asking for
your help.... not
full time, not even
part-time. Below is
a list of the
immediate areas we
wish to begin, with
an estimate of the
time that will be
involved. Please
let us know where
you can help out,
most require only a
few hours each
season. When you have
determined the area
that you would find
most enjoyable,
would you please
send an email to
info@rcysl.com
or leave detailed
information on the
soccer message line
at 341-3846. We
would like about 5
persons working on
each topic.

prepare bids.

The Rapid City Youth Soccer League is a
non-profit organization comprised of more than 2000 players
from 4 to 19 years of age. About 300 coaches, volunteers and administrators help each
season.
RCYSL has 4 seasons for its players:
Fall - the start of the soccer year begins in late
August and ends in mid October
Winter Indoor - intense, very fast play indoors from
November to mid December
Winter Tournament - with several indoor tournaments
held from December through March
Spring - beginning in mid March and ending with the
State Tournament in early June
If you are interested in playing soccer during one of these
of these seasons, check out the information posted under the
League page.
Volunteers are always appreciated, and there are many
positions available from coaches or assistant coaches to
committee members or Board of Director positions.
